Scrapology 2009

On Friday afternoon I left for a girls weekend of scrapping in St. Louis. It was a blazing hot weekend so it was nice to be inside having fun. I got home late Sunday afternoon.

The Double Tree Hotel in St. Louis, MO. The event was held here in their banquet room. We stayed here also and the rooms were very nice.

Jana and Kelly scrapping away!!

Lynn joined us on Saturday morning. She flew her plane down from Springfield, IL and Kelly went to pick her up at the airport. Glad she made it.

Kelly finished her Lickety Splits boardbook. It documented the pond from start to finish. It turned out really cute.

The event was sold out. About 175 scrappers for the entire weekend = a lot of fun!!

On Saturday we took a break for dinner and took a drive through Forest Park. They still had the arch up from the All-Star baseball game so we all got out for pictures. It was nice that Kelly lived there and knew all the spots to go see while on our little break from scrapping.

Kelly, myself and Jana.

Myself, Lynn and Jana.

Through the glass is where they bottle the rootbeer.

One AWESOME rootbeer float.

We went to eat at Fitz's Rootbeer for dinner on Saturday night down in The Loop district...it was an excellent choice.

Hayden - 4 Years Old

These are some of my favorite pictures of Hayden over the past 4 years. Enjoy!!

Four years ago on a Sunday evening at 6:01 pm Hayden Nikolaj Jensen made his arrival into this world. He was absolutely perfect!! He was 7 lbs. 4 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. It was an easy labor and delivery. I was in labor about 10 1/2 hours and only pushed for 13 minutes.

I can't believe how fast the time has flown by. Next year he will be getting ready to go to kindergarten. This little guy is the comic relief for this family. You have no clue what is going to come out of his little mouth and he thinks about everything.

He always wants to be with you and loves to help out. He loves sports but especially golf. He loves watching golf, playing golf, pretending his toys are golf clubs. He also likes firetrucks, trains and playing school. For being so outgoing he's the most cautious out of the three kids. Being in new situations, he's not too brave but once he feels comfortable...watch out world!!

Love you my little sugar lips.

Listen To Me Hayden

When we went to St. Louis, we decided to make it a long weekend trip. We left on Thursday afternoon and came home on Sunday.

One morning while we were getting ready, Hayden climbed up in one of the chairs and was watching all that was going on.

Lily had to climb up there and sit with him. She kept "talking" and "talking" to him. Finally, she was jabbering so much that he just got down. I'm not sure what she had on her mind but it must have been something very important that she had to share with her big brother.

-Wearing a size 4 shoe.

-Wants to climb on EVERYTHING.

-Loves strawberries, grapes, mac-n-cheese, apple juice and vanilla wafers.

Two Little Monkeys...

Two little monkeys jumping on the bed...one fell off and bumped their head...momma called the doctor and the doctor said...that's what you get for jumping on the bed. (Yes, one did fall off too)
