We did it!! We made the verbal offer on Monday and everything that we wanted and then some was agreed to, so we signed the agreement to purchase the house and gave our check with the earnest money to buy.We've already been pre-approved for the mortgage so we need to call on Monday to tell them to proceed with everything.
The way it looks we will be in the new house by Monday, February 23. This should give use enough time to get our house sold and for him to finish the retaining wall and leveling out the back yard.
On Monday the realtor will be at our house to have it listed and put on the market. He already has two good leads of people wanting to purchase homes in our neighborhood.
I'm still nervous, excited and anxious over all of this. Now if we can get this house sold in a timely manner, all will be great!!
