Nice

I thought this was nice.

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.

Now and Then

I've been playing around with my pictures this evening. It seems like since I went strictly digital, I take many more photos. I was looking at photos of Hayden last year in February. He's changed so much and now so active. He's running everywhere and each week picks up a new word. This week his word is "Bye" and then he waves his little hand. He's also started honking your nose. When he does it he just laughs and giggles. Just take look for yourself at the changes in one year.

Finally some snow

We finally got some snow. It was pretty to watch last night. We pulled open the mini blinds and Will and Hayden were jumping around on the loveseat watching it come down. I don't think Hayden knew what he was watching but if big brother is doing it then he's going to be doing it too.

School is closed today but it's almost all melted now. Definately school tomorrow. Wish I could have had a snow day too. I've been cold all day and I've got class tonight. I don't really want to get out. I'd like to curl up on the sofa and watch some tv and snuggle with my honey.

Later...someone is pulling on my leg. I think he thinks I might be eating yogurt. Nope!!

Ooops...I picked the wrong team.

Last weekend was the Super Bowl. I was rooting for the Colts the entire time but Anders and Will were for the Bears. Since Hayden is small enough not to have an opinion yet, he was convinced to root for the Bears. Once it looked like the Colts were going to win, Will decided he would go with his number #2 team afterall. (10 yr. olds are so fickle).

If you give a boy a cookie

Hayden has recently figured out how much fun and yummy it is to eat a cookie. Every day after his nap he gets up and wants a cookie. He'll point his litte finger towards the cabinet, smile and say "cookie". (How can you resist that??) He wants to sit on your lap to enjoy it or sit on the counter. I think this is so no one, big brother or dog, can take a bite out of it.

Here's my little monkey in the tub.

I guess I need to be a better blogger. A whole week has passed and no new posts. Nothing really new to report this week. Everyone is still healthy (and happy) which is a very good thing.

I think it's time for bed. It's been a busy day. Got my hair cut, worked for 3 hours and went shopping for a bit at the mall, JoAnns, and went out to eat Chinese food. I'm cold and ready to get under the covers. Goodnight.

I'm Back

After much illness in our household, I can happily report that everyone is healthy and happy again. This was a rough two weeks as all four of us have been so sick. I have actually put the Clorox wipes and Lysol back in the cabinet. They've been sitting out on our counter for awhile so I was glad to see them go. Hopefully, they can stay there for awhile.

Today's the Super Bowl. I think all of us are looking forward to it and excited. Anders and Will are (of course) rooting for the Bears but I like the Colts better. Just a few more hours.
GO COLTS...GO COLTS...GO COLTS ....ok too... Go Bears.
