Growing
Yesterday we took Lily to the Pediatrician for her 15 month check up. She's doing very well and he was surprised at her speech. She's starting to say more and more words.
She got two shots. One in her arm and one in her thigh. I was anticipating her crying. Daddy came with us and he was all prepared too. She didn't even let out a whimper. We were all shocked!! But she did have a rough afternoon. She was running a low grade fever and a fussy girl.
Here's her statistics:
Weight - 22 lbs. 6 oz. (43% on the growth chart)
Height - 32 inches (87% on the growth chart)
She's GROWING and GROWING!! Also, don't you just love her swimsuit?

"The Littles"
This picture literally cracks me up laughing. It's so Hayden and Lily these days.
They were in our bedroom at the foot of the bed. I keep a laundry basket down there and Lily likes to push it around the room or toss clothes out of it. As you can tell Hayden was letting her know that she shouldn't be doing that.
They communicate to each other more and more but Hayden is the typical big brother. He's only 2 1/2 years older but he thinks he's the boss of Lily. She is not having it and expresses her feelings very vocally.
Since they are so close in age I refer to them often as the "little ones" or "the littles."

She's Starting Early
Simple Scrapbooks magazine!! This looks good!! I see my mommy reading magazines like this. Maybe I should check it out too.
Wow!! I like the Slice but I think the Cricut we use mommy is much better.
Mommy, can I sit down and look at this?
Hmmm...now which article should I read first?
Nice layout...I'll have to scraplift this one.
Mommy, here's a 20% off coupon for Michaels Craft store. Let's get going!!

In My Daughter's Eyes
In My Daughter's Eyes by Martina McBride
In my daughter's eyes I am a hero
I am strong and wise and I know no fear
But the truth is plain to see
She was sent to rescue me
I see who I wanna be
In my daughter's eyes
In my daughter's eyes everyone is equal
Darkness turns to light and the
world is at peace
This miracle God gave to me gives me
strength when I am weak
I find reason to believe
In my daughter's eyes
And when she wraps her hand
around my finger
Oh it puts a smile in my heart
Everything becomes a little clearer
I realize what life is all about
It's hangin' on when your heart
has had enough
It's giving more when you feel like giving up
I've seen the light
It's in my daughter's eyes
In my daughter's eyes I can see the future
A reflection of who I am and what will be
Though she'll grow and someday leave
Maybe raise a family
When I'm gone I hope you see how happy
she made me
For I'll be there
In my daughter's eyes
I love you my sweet little Lily.
