1 Year Old

Look who turned 1 year old on March 14!!!

This last month has been a big month for the little girl. She's changing and getting more mobile which means she's getting into EVERYTHING.

Here's information about her at the moment:

- Going through a big growth spurt. Already outgrowing her 12 months clothes and starting to wear 18 months. Currently weights 21 lbs. 4 oz. and is in the 52% percentile. She's 30 1/4" tall and is in the 82% percentile.

- Wearing size 4 diapers.

- Drinking more from her sippy cup than the bottle.

- Wanting to take a bite of everything that you're eating. She's eating more and more table food. Loves strawberry Nutri-grain bars.

- This month 3 teeth on the top have came in. Has a total of 5 teeth.

- Starting to pull up to stand while against the furniture. She will now stand on her tippy toes to reach something. Also, will let go and keep her balance for a short bit before falling over.

- She speed crawls. Her little knees are red and dry. At each diaper change I put lotion on her knees.

- Her hair is getting longer, especially in the back. It has a few soft little curls. I can now put a clip bow on the side of her hair.

- Loves to dance and wiggle when she hears music. Loves the Patty Cake song and Itsy Bitsy Spider.

- Showing an interest in books.

- Now riding in a big girl car-seat but still facing the rear.

- Wearing a size 3 shoe.

- Whenever she sees Fritz, our dog, she chases him and then will bark like a dog.

- When she gets upset she will cover her eyes and yell.

- Hayden and Lily now have little moments where they get into it. He doesn't like her touching his stuff. She goes right for his things everytime.

- Likes to give us love by patting our shoulders or kissing our cheeks.

- She's still a cuddle bug and I hope this continues for a long time.
