Twilight

It's been awhile since I've read a novel. Most of my reading is magazines and my bible readings. I kept hearing all the buzz about Twilight. I tried to read it once before and couldn't get past the first chapter. I figured I'd try one more time and if I couldn't get into it, then I'd give the book back to my friend.

Oh my!!! Why did I wait so long? I LOVED it!! Once I got started I couldn't put the book down. I finished it in a matter of days and then watched the movie this weekend. The movie wasn't as good as the book but I enjoyed it.

Now I must read the sequels...now I just need a beach to lay by while reading. (A girl can dream, right?)

Dear Stomach

Dear Stomach,

I work in the ER and see daily what you can do to people. I understand what a powerful organ you are as you can make people miserable but I beg you to behave. I was never one who doubted you. I never put bad things into you, at least not on purpose.

You showed me who was boss on Thursday and Friday. I cancelled my hair appointment over you and the "sick bucket" stayed by my bed all day but enough is enough.

Please, can't we just be friends again?

Lily, that's who!!!

For the past two weeks she will go from sitting to standing without holding on to anything but hasn't wanted to take any steps unless she's holding onto your hand. Sometimes she will just stand there and then lower herself real easy back down to the floor.

Tonight she kept doing that but she took three steps towards me.

I accidentally dropped a sock on the floor while folding clothes in our bedroom and she picked up the sock and was waving it around. She was standing there and then I held out my arms for her to come to me and she actually walked towards me. I was so excited and called the guys in from outside to show them. She walked for them too.

It's so cute as she smiles real big and then when she gets to you she will clap her hands and giggle.
