Where's Hayden??

This cracks me up so much!! It's a true indication of the funny personality this little boy has. Everyday he does something so cute and funny. I just love this guy!!

Also, while shopping for fall clothes, I should have just purchased this exact same dinosaur sweatshirt 7 times. This is all he wants to wear at the moment. This morning he got it out of the laundry basket to wear again. The dinosaur stage has now begun.

Chicago Pictures - Part 2

The day after the pumpkin farm was a cold rainy day. Lily and I went to Archivers for some "retail therapy" and then met up with everyone for lunch at Olive Garden. We spent the rest of the day inside just visiting and watching the cousins enjoy playing with each other.

The next day we left around lunchtime and the sun was back out again. Anders parents wanted to get photos of everyone. Also, Uncle Tony was working on changing a flat tire on his SUV. Hayden wanted to help him fix it too. It was so cute to see him working with Tony to get the tire off.

After a long drive, we finally made it home. Traveling during the day with a toddler and a baby is not a fun thing to do. At this stage we do much better traveling at night or flying. Overall, it was a great trip that didn't last long enough.

We spoke to Anders parents a few days later and they made it back home to Denmark just fine. They had a great visit but I believe they were glad to be back home too. Hopefully we will be able to see them soon. This time it will be when we are in Denmark.

Croptoberfest

Today is Croptoberfest up at the Gasthoff Inn in Montgomery, Indiana. I've got to get the final things packed and I'm out the door. It's supposed to be a beautiful fall day.

Hopefully I'll get a lot of cropping done. I'll be glad to see everyone.

Chicago Pictures - Goebbert's Farm

I thought I would begin posting pictures of our trip up to Chicago.

On Sunday afternoon we went to Goebbert's Pumpkin Farm. It was a cool and windy fall day. We saw a lot of pumpkins and they even had a petting zoo. Out of all the animals I think Hayden liked the goats the best as they would gobble down the food he gave them.

They had a mechanical pumpkin eating dinosaur. Hayden thought it was great smashing the pumpkins until the head came down low and it seemed to look right at him and steam came out of his nose. Anders was holding Hayden and when it did that he screamed and hid his face. So Hayden!!

We then went through a corn maze which we thought would be easy. Nope!! It took all 10 of us about 30 minutes to finally figure out how to get out. They hay maze was a lot easier though.

It was fun all of us being together and the cousins getting to spend time with each other.

Winnings

My box arrived from Simple Scrapbooks Magazine with the albums I'd won in the sweepstakes. I'd been anxiously awaiting for it to arrive to see what I got. I got three albums. I like all of them but especially the pink 8x8 album. All of them are very nice!! It's so much fun to win something and especially when it's a scrapbooking item.

My Little Pumpkin

While up in Chicago we went to Goebbert's Farm. I'm still working on the pictures but had to just put this one out there. I just love this picture of Lily. She really is our "lil' punkin girl"

We're Back

We're back from Chicago and had a wonderful time!!! The kids were happy to see the family and Lily was kissed and spoiled by her famor and fafa (Danish for grandma and grandpa.) The weather was cool but nice. I went shopping at IKEA and Archiver's, as usual. Pictures will be coming soon.

Again...Chicago and family were GREAT!!! Now, back to reality.
